Scholarly Writing Circles

Circle Awards

Call for Proposals

A limited number of mini-grants, of up to $500 per grant, are available for Scholarly Writing Circles. Form a circle of 4-6 faculty members to meet regularly (consistent weekly/bi-weekly schedule) over the course of the academic year to support each other’s writing and provide feedback on writing projects. Circle members come from more than one academic discipline and preferably, more than one department. Hone your skills in communicating your projects to a cross-disciplinary audience. Produce a solid draft of your work or a “peer reviewed” manuscript for submission.

Choose a facilitator and submit a proposal outlining the following:

2. Circle facilitator(s)
3. Realistic goals and and anticipated outcomes
